Elementals
Description: A species entirely seperate from humans. Their genetic make-up is somewhat of a mystery as mystical energy cannot be correctly identified with technology. They have been around as long as humans and look almost exactly like them. Elementals live all around the world, but recently they have begun to congregate in Baltimore to see what will happen to humanity. They are neutral for the most part, though a small percentage of their kind has turned to either the good or bad side.
Wielder
Description: Wielders are the weakest type of Elemental, but they have great potential. There are four elements and thus, four types of Wielders: Water Wielders, Earth Wielder, Wind Wielders, and Flame Wielders. Elementals of this classification are only able to manipulate their element to a limited extent. They cannot create their element or transform into it. They are able to withstand damage from their element however. Wielders can be identified by their eye color: Light Blue and Dark blue for Water, Brown and Green for Earth, Light Blue and White for Wind, Red and Yellow for Flame.
Child
Description: Don't let their title fool you, because these are very powerful Elementals. There are four elements and thus, four types of Children: Water Child, Earth Child, Wind Child, and Flame Child. Elementals of this classification are able to manipulate their element with much greater control and power. They are able to create their element to a limited extent and they can partially transform into it. Their element can hurt them, but the force must be incredible to do so. Children can be identified by their eye color as well, but what distinuishes them as Children are the markings on their faces: Three Dark Blue circles on each of their cheeks for Water, Three thin Green lines under their right eye for Earth, Three White Diamonds in the center of their forehead for Wind, Thee Red triangles just under their lower lip.
Living
Description: The name says it all with this one. These Elementals are their element incarnate. There are four elements and thus, four types of Living: Living Water, Living Earth, Living Wind, and Living Flame. Elementals of this classification are able to manipulate their element fully. They are able to create vast amounts of their element and they are able to fully transform into their element without expending any energy. Their element can do no harm to them but it can heal them. The Living can be identified by the previous indicators as well as the color of their skin: Their skin is mottled, though the colors are not very visible, you wouldn't much pay attention if you passed them on the street: Light Blue and Dark Blue for Water, Brown and Green for Earth, Light Blue and White for Wind, Red and Yellow for Flame.
Spirit
Description: These are the leaders of the Elementals. They have transcended the physical and while they can revert to a physical state, they prefer their spirit form. There are four elements and thus, four types of Spirit: Water Spirit, Earth Spirit, Wind Spirit, and Flame Spirit. While the Living may be the element incarnate, the Spirit is the element. They command all forms of their element with unmatched power and can create an unlimited amount of their element with little strain. While in spirit form, their element cannot even touch them, but while in physical form, their element cannot be used against them. While in physical form, the Spirit is joined with their element and so they reflect that joining.
In spirit form, these Elementals are identified all previous indicators as well as a radiant glow: Blue for Water, Green for Earth, White for Wind, Red for Flame.
In physical form, these Elementals do not take a human-like form and thus cannot be identified by the previous indicators. They are, instead, identifiable by their appearance: Giant made of swirling water for Water, Giant made of dirt, rock, grass, and filled with insects for Earth, Giant made up of wind, and is thus almost invisible, for Wind, and Giant made of Flame which can incinerate all it touches, yes even non-flammable stuff, for Fire.
